    Amy,

You should try the Double Layer Pumpkin Pie. We have been making if for several years on Thanksgiving. It is wonderful!

    Amy,

I hate to disagree, but that’s exhibit Z-957324822. But it definitely makes the top ten. Maybe the top 3.

Yum. Is the pie as wonderful as it sounds? Did you make a lot in order to freeze? Did you do the maple syrup? Sounds delicious!

The sad thing is that there is such a vigorous competition going for the pig-faced rat-gut award – I really had no idea who he would choose, there are so many possiblities. Maybe he should choose an award winner every week instead of just once a year? Maybe every day? VOTE THEM ALL OUT! We wouldn’t need term limits if we could convince all our friends, family, and neighbors to never again vote for any encumbant.

did you catch in the “fine print” speech that nap-be-gone cannot be used in the state of KY??? Now what are we going to do???

Were I in Texas, I would even sacrifice Ron Paul on the altar of that principle.

I have 2 frozen. It is sweet enough without the maple syrup, but I plan to do that for Thanksgiving.

I have the cream cheese pumpkin pie baking in the oven. I reduced the sugar (for the diabetic in the family) to 1/4 cup in the pumpkin layer. I added a bit of Sweet and Low to the cream cheese layer. Hopefully, this recipe will still taste yummy with a bit less sugar. I plan to eliminate the syrup and add Cool Whip before serving.
