The boy has ideas

…and at least we know where he gets some of them.
The animal in the book is saying, “Maybe it is a throwing toy.” Of course, I didn’t know we even had that book until a friend posted this picture on the internet.
That reminds me of a time when my oldest asked me what the temperature was, and I pulled up the dashboard on my mac. Then I looked at him and said, “Why don’t you turn the doorknob that is two inches from your hand?”
Happy Friday, all.
That’s an adorable boy you have there, Amy.
Terry,
I keep thinking, God is doing something.
I don’t know what God is doing, but good gravy, He’s doing….something. Of course, He’s always doing something, but He is really doing something with that boy. Maybe I just forgot about boys after three girls in a row…?
(I hate it when my oldest answers the “where is it” question with, “It’s somewhere.”)
I never noticed WHAT he was reading… only that he was so darn cute doing it! :) And I think it was a library book.
We have that (overdue) library book right now! My 2yo and 4yo can “read” the whole thing.
Yes, it was a library book. We went over our allotment of 50 last week. We check out a lot of books. (We pay a lot in fines, too.)
I realize that doesn’t make sense, but it made sense in my mind when I wrote it on the heels of talking about “something”.
Amy,
Does your library offer to let you take them for 6 weeks at a time? Our library lets me take out books just as they allow teachers too. We also got two library cards – my husbands and mine. My daughter who turned 19 in October just got hers too. When she was around 10 the library called and said that she owed a fine on her library card. I asked “What book was it?” to which they told me they couldn’t tell me. I promptly canceled her library card and she has used mind ever since.
Anyhow, I just thought maybe you could ask about the 6 week loan to help you save on fines. I usually end up taking the books back in a month so I have not incurred fines as of yet. Of course you have to remember to take all the books back and not let them die a slow death behind the bunk beds.
Every morning before school, the kids log on to the Mac to find out if they have to wear long sleeves.
OK, I give, what is the book? What are they throwing? This one does not look familiar. By the way, the Epcot trip looked fun. Hope you had some fun.
Another Heather, I don’t know what book it is. It got returned to the library. :)
:-)
