Carmon is raising money for Azanou, an Ethiopian orphan in need of eye surgery, by hosting a Blog-a-thon. I volunteered for a interview-tag type of party game, so I’m posting it below. I usually get banned from all party games, so I was glad to see that nobody knew me well enough around these parts. I’m a softie for party games. What can I say?

My Bloggerview (new word?) with Buried Treasure Books:

1. With so many young children, what do you do to keep your sanity? Who says I have any sanity?!? Seriously, I just read Mrs. Chancey’s latest article, and I think her words sum it up for me. The biggest sanity saver, in practical terms, is that my children are learning obedience.

2. What kind of music do you enjoy and what are some of your favorite songs? If kiddie songs aren’t playing in the van, I usually turn it to talk radio. Don’t throw stones at me: I am a pianist, but I don’t care for classical music. It puts me to sleep, and sleeping isn’t something I get to do during the day. I think Billy Joel is a genious when we’re talking chord progressions, but now I’m partial to Celtic hymns. Love Rich Mullins, too.

3. California or Florida? Neither California nor Florida is cuttin’ it for me; I’ve reprogrammed my sights to a Celestial City.

4. How did you become a Christian? See my recent interview.

5. What are your favorite and least favorite household chores? Favorite: folding clothes. Least favorite: washing, drying, hauling, and putting away the clothes. I’m currently training my recruits on this one, though.

Now if you’d like to play along, I’m offering to interview the first three people to respond to this post:

1. Leave me (Amy) a comment saying “interview me.”
2. I will respond by asking you five questions here on my site (not the same as you see here).
3. You will update your blog/site with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Any takers?
