Late night confession: I met someone online
Friday, Mar 18, 2005
isn’t usually a good way to start a conversation. Tomorrow morning I’m having my very first real-live, up-close encounter with a
Cyber.
Friend.
[If I knew how to link clips, I'd put in some Scooby music.]
In real life I don’t set my expectations too high. To be my pal, you’re only required to not talk behind my back. (I don’t even mind if you’re mean to me, I can deal; just do it in person.) However, this girl has more qualities than I normally require for buddy status. She loves God wholeheartedly and has a sense of humor. Not too shabby.
But….I’m nervous. What if she’s an ax murderer with a sense of humor? What if she takes candy from babies? What if she speeds up when she sees old ladies crossing the street? What if she’s…a HE?!
[Now link the clip where Scooby goes, "Gulp!"]
See ya’ll when I get back…maybe.
