Valerie, The bio on the back cover says that he was a PCA pastor at Hertiage Pres. in OK City, but now he lives in D.C. Don’t know if that helps solve the mystery!

Yesterday I mowed 2 acres of grass and planted flowers and bushes and watered my garden…no problem praising God.
Today I plan to do laundry and pick up around the house…I am spending time on the computer and have hardly touched the mound in my laundry room!

I guess I have to work on the indoor areas of work in my life!

Good post, Amy. With three young children I was starting to believe that because God gave me this work to do He wanted me to be happy and fulfilled in it. Now I’m thinking that the work (esp. motherhood) is just the means He uses to get us to turn to Him for fulfillment. Hope that makes sense. Sounds like a good book, thanks for the review.

Wonderful post Amy. I am an idolater, looking to the events and circumstances of the day to fulfill me. I categorize the day as good or bad and my mood follows suit. My fulfillment should come from God, the fountain of life, who in His abundant grace has granted me another day and the blessings therein.
