Enjoyed your Article, Amy. The only thing I ever had published (other than my blog and some reviews online) has been a poem - but it was one of those schemes to buy a really expensive book… and I was about 17 and poor - so I couldn’t afford to even buy the book!

Yes, Amy, opinionated, yet humble, people can get published in some of the weirdest publications I have been published in more than one offbeat place.

My Alliance Life article was way before the internet. I still have a copy, of course, not on any hard drive but out in my garage in a box somewhere.

And some of my best friends are C&MA…

Sorry about that. I didn’t mean to post anonymously. That was me posting that first comment.

I have been published in Clarion Magazine, Reformed Perspectives Magazine and in The Southside Messenger. And I apparently contributed a chapter to a book written by David Cloud, though I only found out when I bought the book. That was something of a surprise.

Wow, that’s great, Amy. (Although, I do think the “magazine” is a little slow. You’re kidding, right? Seven years? They still HAD it?) Interesting….

As a slight aside…how does one eat collard greens? I saw you mention them at Kristen’s site. I just planted some…and…don’t know what to do with them if they grow.

Incidentally, everything I’ve ever submitted via my blog has been published, so I’ve a nice running total going… Or are we not counting the fact that Wordpress post submit button says “Publish”? ‘Cause if we’re not, I’m 0 for 0, maintaining a cool 100% right along side you.
