Just wanted to give you a heads up. ABC TV got a hold of my blogroll and is looking for a conservative family for their TV show…Wife Swap. She has e-mailed or called just about everyone. She even left a comment on my blog upping the price to $20 Grand to the family.

Looks like I'm the only one who hasn't been asked. Wondering why... :)

Hey, I have one of those! It's cool technology, but as my wife (who sounds just like you) says, honey, we have a map, it works without electricity, and is rarely wrong!

Technology 0 - My Wife 1000 (and counting)!

Great stuff Amy.

I would never introduce my family to the joys of a GPS. After 3 years they still haven’t figured out the one remote that controls the TV, the Dish and the Stereo.

I use the one and they continue to use three seperate remotes.

It’s a guy thing…

Tim, I SOOOOOOOOOOOO do that and it infuriates my husband. I try, try, try to find the 'right' button to get the TV from Video1 to Video2, but I swear it is ONLY ON THE WHITE REMOTE. And the volume is ONLY ON the grey one. And I can only adjust the volume on one remote to a certain point and need the television remote after that. Jeff once hid the other two remotes in the back of the wardrobe. He cracked up to find out that I found them before he got home. "The amount of time you spent looking for the remotes could have been spent looking for the right button on THIS ONE REMOTE."

Whatever.

I don't believe him. He's just gifted with remotes.

Cute! My husband is nutso with the GPS too. I highly prefer the good ole paper map. In the time it takes him to turn on the GPS, acquire satellites, zoom in or out, I can read the paper map and be on our way. But when you're lost in an unfamiliar town or city, the GPS can be priceless.

Had to laugh out loud! This so reminds me of something that might happen in our house. My kids often remind me when I ask them to help me find something "Mommy, it's in your hand." :)

I am mentioning this post in my blog for 7/31/05... stop in when you get a chance to get up off the couch! Hope you are feeling well.

Just wanted to give you a heads up. ABC TV got a hold of my blogroll and is looking for a conservative family for their TV show...Wife Swap. She has e-mailed or called just about everyone. She even left a comment on my blog upping the price to $20 Grand to the family.

Thanks but my family isn't for sale at any price.
