Ah, bless, Amy. Thanks for your patience. And consider me your resident dissident and disturber! :-D (If you only knew how conservative I am compared to those around me, you'd giggle as I am doing!)

Have a wonderful Christmas; your family are in my prayers.

Amy, what do you mean by “I wasn’t allowed to attend a Biblical church”? Do you mean God’s will was such that you couldn’t get access to one?

As long as I was in my parent's home, I had to attend their church, which for many years, was unBiblical. (Not my obedience, I mean, but the church...) Lots of unfulfilled prophecies, strange signs, false teaching, etc.

As far as it being God's will, yes, it was God's will for me to worship there, as strange as that may seem. God works through secondary causes, and looking back, I see a purpose for all of it.

Or am I wading into something controversial in my innocence here?

Mrs. P, you're always a little controversial. I like it. :)

Okay, let the Catholic woman jump and ask what may be a really stupid question to people from another faith tradition: Amy, what do you mean by "I wasn’t allowed to attend a Biblical church"? Do you mean God's will was such that you couldn't get access to one? Or am I wading into something controversial in my innocence here? :-D

I guess I'll be considering myself tagged as well :)

I do so enjoy your posts Amy - I promptly requested the Rich Dad/Poor Dad series from the library and am hoping that we will learn from it.

Thanks!

I've learned not to say "Who left this here, etc." I got sick of hearing "Not me!" ten times! ;-)

I may be considering myself tagged as well...

The reason for my comment, however, is to plug the excellent new Akismet plugin for Wordpress; all you have to do is install it, and it just works. No more spam.

You'll need a Wordpress.com account (in order to get the API key), but it too is free, and worth it to use Akismet. :)
