Not sure. Apparently, we must say, “You’re not going to waste your money on that, are you?” and so they equate the word “waste” with “spend.”

Potty trained at 2? Maybe you could come give me some lessons!

I do believe that this is the only thing that bribing with treats is an acceptable parenting method. Otherwise, it’s just not cute when a mom has to pry six-year-old Junior away from his playdate with M & M’s.

Hilarious quotes! The money wasting comment reminds me of our 2 1/2 year old who, whenever you ask her what commercials are for, responds “To make me want stuff!”

How very precious.All I get at the moment is ‘hello dada’ a variation on ‘thank you’ and his version of ‘oh dear’ as he pruposefully chucks something onto the floor!

how to you get them to talk that early?

I don’t know!

All our kids sat up at six months, walked at a year, talked at a year and a half, and potty-trained at two. OK, I know this isn’t uncommon, but all our kids have followed the same pattern. No variations yet. Maybe it’s our water.

Now, if only I could get them to rise up and call me “blessed” by three, I might be able to package the water…
