I am new to this blog and am just reading through your archives...I don't know if you'll even see this comment but, I am pregnant with my fourth child, my first son, and at 27 weeks pregnant, your post has me longing to hold, nurse and rock this little one. I was fighting back the tears as I read your post ~ my other children are around me and I don't want them to think I've completely gone off my rocker, LOL.

Children are such a blessing from God.

Someone recently mentioned to me that the 'privileged' child of today is not the child who comes from money, but rather the child who has both a mother and father at home, a mother who makes a home for them, and siblings to share adventures with. By this definition, your children truly are the privileged ones!

Thanks for the reminders Amy. I really like your blog.

Amy, I am totally with you on rocking a baby to sleep. I still rock my 16mo to sleep for naps and bedtime when I can, even though he isn't nursing anymore. (it hurt too much, being preg. again!) I can't wait to rock and nurse this new little one to sleep, although I always think about how I can rock them both at the same time right now with ease. :lol_ee: My glider rocker is one of the best presents my dh ever bought for me. It was my Christmas present when my first was only 6 months old. It has been used constantly for 10.5 years now!

Well, I must go "gock-gock" with my little one for naptime now.:wink_ee:

I knew it, I knew it. There are men out there reading this thing, but only the strongest among them admit it. :) :)

I'm with you on rocking/nursing. Besides, there is nothing better than a sleeping bundle of joy in my arms.

They are so sweet and look SO happy! You're doing a great job!
