It’s great

The Scott family scores again. Another church dinner produces an ample supply of leftovers for the freezer. I estimate there’s about 10 pounds of macaroni and cheese with ham here. I love our church family. (Especially when they overestimate.) We’re glad to know, love, and be loved by our friends.

That much mac & CHEESE left over? What a shame…
I love that stuff. And with ham? Mmmm, never had it that way. Sounds quite tasty!

We are always given the leftovers from church potlucks. Perhaps it is because we have more than the average number of kids. Perhaps it is because Kent is the pastor. And just perhaps it is because we have chickens that will eat whatever we don’t!

Okay, where do you go to church? Would you be willing to share?
I love leftovers. I was at a tea party luncheon the other day and one lady said she could take the leftovers home and have them for supper that night. She was partly joking but she also doesn’t mind having leftovers to take home for her family of boys. Love to you, Lorene

I am finding that even with 8 people in the house, we really do not consume that much food. I overestimate when giving food to friends who have 8 children. They always tell me that they freeze part of what I give them. Oh well, it’s all good.
