I've done a pirate ship (with the candles sticking out the sides like cannons and gunwales), football field, hats (for my son's "hat birthday"...he really likes to dress up), and my personal favorite-the battle zone. It was a war-field with bunkers, logs (Twix cookies), and poor dismembered little army men (with strawberry jam at the severed part). I know, gross and NOT funny at all (well, okay, we thought it was funny), but a HUGE hit with all the little boys. Great cake…We like to do up personal cakes, too. They grow up so fast! That dressing story reminded me of a story of my great grandmother. We were sitting at Thanksgiving dinner and she was seated next to my husband and she said, "I don't know you, but I sure like you!" She was quite old and having memory problems. It was really cute.
