I lost a week’s worth of data again, and I don’t particularly care to hunt it down. You may have noticed the server was down a lot this week, and I am not sure why or what is happening. I suspect it is another MySQL problem. They have people who figure out these things, and I’m not one of them.
I’ve learned that you shouldn’t fight things that will whup your tail. Computers, the I.R.S., and getting out the door in under an hour with 5 littles and a puppy all come to mind. If it helps my case any, I did post a couple times yesterday. Yes, in one day. Just so you know that I’m not a complete, utter failure as a blogger.
Thanks for visiting. Have a nice day. Come again soon. See you next time. Don’t forget your sippie cups on the way out the door today.

Yes, and they were very good posts, Amy.

I share your pain. Blogging is mostly a labor of love. But some days it’s more labor than love.

I was greatly encouraged by your thoughts on “one day…”. The post may be lost in cyberspace, but it’s influence on me is not.
Thanks for being like the righteous man in Proverbs, who though he stumbles/loses posts seven times, gets up/blogs again!

My server was down yesterday as well. Almost gave me the shakes. I know we’re in the same vicinity. I think someone spilled some coffee on a keyboard at Bright House or something technical like that.
Hey, this is the free weekend for our area at KSC! We went this morning.

“complete, utter failure as a blogger”????? It blows my mind that you even find time to do this at all! And thanks for the article on family centered vision for SBTS. Very encouraging.

Thanks for writing, all. I used to fight the computer, and now I just walk away. I’m not sure if I’ve resigned myself to technical difficulties or if I just don’t care that much anymore. I’ve learned that sometimes these things just magically work themselves out, even if you don’t do anything. Then, there was the day I spent 6 hours working with Earthlink. I never want to do that again. God bless all the folks that do this for a living. My blood pressure can’t take it.
DeeDee, my husband took all the older kids to KSC today too, but they didn’t get home until almost 6 p.m.

I know I say this alot, but you make me laugh. And I was not laughing at your technical problems, I sympathize with those. It was your last sentence that humored me. Go figure?! Your lost posts, I missed. and regrettably so.
