Florida storm
Friday, Feb 2, 2007
As you might already know, Central Florida was hit by a tornado today. Our families are well; still others are not. Reports indicate that several are confirmed dead, hundreds are still missing.
Acres of Hope emailed me, asking me to pass this message along:
Acres Of Hope America is a small farm support Christian Ministry. We are headquartered in Tampa Bay.
We are facilitating resources specifically for the needs of any small farmers impacted by this crisis. We will be on site at Lady Lake in Lake County either late tonight or early Saturday morning.
We plan to move east through the damaged areas trying to bring small farm specific relief aid to as many small farmers as we can locate. We will be on site for as long as it takes, ministering the love and comfort of Christ and facilitating help for the small farmers.
I have direct contact information should you know of anyone needing assistance. Use the contact form above to reach me.

So thankful you are well! We prayed for you this morning when we heard the news not knowing exactly where in Florida you are or where in Florida the storms were their worst. We will continue to pray for the families that are in the midst of this tragedy!

Glad also to hear that you are o.k. My thoughts and prayers went out to all the people in Florida effected, but specifically I thought of the blog moms I read that are in Florida.
I will continue to pray for those in Florida.

Egads, I’m glad you’re ok. See? I think this is a sign that you should definitely move to TN.

I am glad your family is OK. I talked with my parents this morning and they are all right too. They go down for the winter near Arcadia. I am praying for those affected by this tragedy. Blessings

Guess a good time to finally comment here… been reading for some time! I forgot you live in FL — very glad you are safe. I have been following channel wftv’s report of the storm. I found a page with the victims listed. Extremely sad. I used to live in Lakeland, FL as well as Kissimmee. Not as bad as when it hit Kissimee in ‘98 (50 dead from that storm) but still need to pray for these families that lost everything.
