We just finished our space unit in my preK class. Everyone LOVED the subject. Our new catch phrase is “There is no sound in outer space!” Now I can tell the children that I ‘know’ a rocket scientist

Actually, it is gorgeous here, too! Sunny, Light coat weather, with enough sticky snow to still make a snow man!

It’s a single up and full down - that way, when she’s mad at me, I can just go up top instead of sharing the crate with the dog.

You do realize that Teen Missions is located in a swamp. Of course, pretty much all of our county is a swamp, hence the original name: Mosquito County. We trade mosquitoes for beautiful fall/winter/spring weather like what we had today – ‘bout 80F and clear blue skies.

Lastly, Amy…when I was a teen I spent parts of two summers on Merrit Island. I went to Kenya and the Dominican Republic with Teen Missions International - so attended “Boot Camp” there. Wow. You have lots of mosquitoes….

That is the GIRLS’ room! Greg built those bunks, and he also built our bed as well. It took him three years because all the joints were hand chiseled. (He didn’t have any power tools yet.) It was my wedding gift. It is a four poster king size bed out of cherry.
