I saw your dh at the ARP synod! I was signing up my older boys for camp synod and the gentleman next to me needed to see a schedule (which I had but the official worker didn't) so I let him look at mine. I noticed his name tag said Greg Scott. I immediately thought it might be your dh, but I didn't know you were ARP. I couldn't (quickly) think of a good way to say "Hey, is your wife's name Amy and does she have a blog?" :-) I wish I had known you were hanging out all alone- we could have hung out together. Because if we read it and know it - then we obey it. I was so disappointed the day my boys and I were walking down a forest road and a ranger drove by and told us that they don't allow sling shots in there anymore. Isn't that pathetic? And now we know, so now we feel compelled to obey it, even though we know full well that the intent of the law had to do with unruly children, not my 8yo under adult supervision who was shooting a soda can far from other people. The worst rules to us are the ones that are not made to be followed, rather they are only made to absolve the rulemakers of any lawsuit possibilities.
