Sad…I missed it! How did it go, and was Greg involved? He’s the only rocket scientist I know of. I’m looking forward to hearing about the rest of the trip, especially what was so great about the Tennessee detour!

Launches are so exciting to watch.My sister watches the shuttle go up on TV and then runs out the door to aee it pass by her house.This unfortunatly means she also saw Challeger blow up with her own eyes not the TV view as I did.

Yes, Greg does software, mechanical, and electrical engineering on the Atlas V. The “married to a rocket scientist” is sort of tongue-in-cheek, as Greg says that you wouldn’t be impressed if you really knew what went on there. In other words, instead of saying, “Well, it’s not rocket science,” maybe we should say, “Well, it’s not harder than working the return line at Wal-Mart the day after Christmas.”
