Good medicine
Saturday, Sep 29, 2007

Apparently, we’re not the only family enjoying my last post. This is too cute not to share. An-internet-turned-real-life-friend sent the above picture of her seven boys enjoying the Praise Aerobics.
There is someone else who has been entertaining me by trying to copy the moves too. I will try hard not to think about it when he performs a wedding next weekend and then preaches the weekend after that. No, I will not think about it then.
As I postulated about the greater things in life, The Nameless Guy reminded me that a merry heart is good medicine.

So….Greg’s praise is getting funky, eh?
I’ll admit to you that I got up and tried a few moves.
Really, brother Paul has great rhythm and great moves and he appears so fit! Good for him.

I thought the same things… I wondered what books she had, and where she got her shelves…

Oh they are all so HANDSOME! I LOVE it - and your friend must be a wonder, 7 boys and her home is immaculate!

Oh, I KNOW those boys! My kids thought it was a riot, too, but my 16yodd would not do the dance. Thanks for a good laugh. BTW, all 7 boys are very handsome and wonderfully behaved. They all help their mother clean the house, too! I’m going to miss them when they move soon :(.

We laughed ourselves silly over this video - especially when we videotaped our 15 month old son dancing to it. We now have a family classic video of our own!

What a gorgeous picture. It looks a little like what our computer room looked like when we were all viewing your post as a family.
Changing the subject a bit here, but I thought you might be interested in my latest entry in my blog

You may have already seen this youtube video, but just in case you haven’t. It is an encouragement to all the mothers out there who find motherhood tuff at times. This will change their perspective a little.
Happy viewing.

Oops. A lot of distraction here. I just noticed my mistake; Tuff should read tough.

That is a fabulous school room! So many windows, so many books and so many beautiful boys!!
I also loved the work out video though I didn’t get brave enough to try it myself for fear my children would laugh hysterically!

That’s why I love this!!! (my blog is ‘good like a medicine’) - Like I said, Paul must be my brother; I was adopted at 2 months old. My sister always said, “Your legs must not be attached to your body…”
My 2 older kids (ages 3,2) and I watched and danced to it all morning yesterday - seriously!!! My daugher asked, “Mommy, why does he keep screaming ‘BAM?’ haha!

Hmmm. I noticed the seven boys and the clean, light colored room. I only have five boys, and nothing, no nothing, is ever that clean. I’m suspicious….

Wow, look at all this prettiness. The brown is like a soothing cup of coffee with a dash of cream. The pictures are sweet. Looks great, Amy!

Please tell your friend that I’m drooling over her spacious bookshelves and room. Not literally. That would be messy.

Amy, love the new look. I think it’s awesome! And chiming in with all those envious of those bookshelves …

Hi Amy - please let me chime in to say your “new look” is great. This photo of the 7 boys sure is cute. Thanks for passing it on to us! Brings a smile to our faces, for sure.

OK, I have to mention it…if you like the bookshelves/school room in the picture I posted, you’re in luck—her house is FOR SALE!
