Now there you go making me all blubbery! My goodness, that was the sweetest little video, the sweetest little song, and the sweetest little babies you’ve got there!
I think I better go pull myself together. My six year old is staring at me.

Gorgeous, Amy. Each of you.
I’ll be back to watch it again later today when I get back home from a spelling bee.

I see someone was not so thrilled with your name choice. hehe

Thanks for making me cry like a baby. But not as cute as your baby, just all drippy and snotty.

Amy~
I’ve been enjoying your blog for sometime now as a lurker….forgive me, but I didn’t know how to make comments on it!!!!! I decided to try today, and here I am!
Your family is beautiful, gorgeous, and blessed to have a mama who embraces God’s will for her life, though sometimes it isn’t the easy choice. Isn’t it the most blessed choice though? I say this with total assurance and confidence, as I too have 6 children (1 boy who is almost 13, the rest are girls!!!), with #7 on the way this summer.
Oh, and chocolate ice cream doesn’t sound like the best thing to me, I’m lactose intolerant but still happy and very satistfied!!! lol!
Thanks for the great posts. If you want to visit me, I blog over at homeschoolblogger/stillgrowing. Please visit me in your ’spare’ time.

Loved the pictures! Beautiful! Kelly’s music was a great backdrop…I’ll have to get one of her cd’s!

Well, you certainly made this pregnant lady cry (what doesn’t make me cry these days?).
Elisabeth is absolutely beautiful. All of your kids are just blessings and I loved the photos with Mom and Dad.
I also recognized the Lands End dress one of your daughters was wearing (the blue striped one); one of my girls has the same one.
In His Grace,
Kelly

What a precious bunch of children you have! Congratulations on your newest arrival. May God bless you as you seek to raise all six of your children for His glory and the furtherance of His kingdom! I sure hope God sees fit to allow me to be a mother one day!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful video, enjoyed the song too.
I am the mother of 11 children, but your family takes me back 12 years ago when I had my 6th child. I know first hand the struggles that you experience. Keep your eyes fixed on eternity, and savor encouraging words from others. Don’t ever be decieved by the god of leisure. God has called us to serve Him, not ourselves. Meditate on all of God’s wonderful promises to those that love and serve Him.
May God continue to richly bless you and your family.

Must admit I don’t love the music, Amy (too “sweet” for me), but the images are gold. What’s the thing about one of your kids wishing the baby were . . . Lydia? Did I get that wrong?
I love the shot of Charles at one end of the sofa, looking rather warily across the row of dolls to the living doll at the end . . . !

Thanks for sharing this Amy. What a wonderful family! I love how your children are helping you stay organized. Don’t those labels make you smile? My computer-generated labels can’t even compare!
Comment by Dene (January 9, 2008 @ 3:16 pm )
Thanks for sharing such great photos and notes from the big siblings…they’re so sweet. McGregor and his “I wish she were Lydia” was too funny…I can’t imagine where he gets his sarcasm/humor. =) I’m glad you have some helpers for this time around of 3, 3 and under!

Thanks for sharing that! I love the sweet photo of your son on the couch with all of the baby dolls, some fake, one real.

Ok, weepy again! Would you stop…I look kinda crazy in front of my computer! :O)
Comment by mel (January 9, 2008 @ 8:06 pm )
Do ya’ll remember our girl naming criteria? All the kids wanted to call her Lydia. Our oldest two were quite disappointed with our name choice.
Thanks for those words, Diane. They are sweet pictures but the work is very hard. It is easy to envy a lighter workload.
It is incredibly easy. I used Windows Movie Maker or whatever the thing is that comes already installed on Windows Vista.

Amy,
That was so beautiful!
I loved it.
You are blessed, friend!!!!
Elisabeth is lovely as are all your sweet children.
Comment by Andrea (January 9, 2008 @ 9:37 pm )
Oh I LOVED LOVED LOVED it! I laughed out loud at several of the photos where she was wailing her sweet little head off.

Thank you for sharing this Amy, it makes me even more excited to have just found out we’re expecting #8.
Comment by Kerrie (January 9, 2008 @ 10:49 pm )
Beautiful! What a great celebration of the Lord’s blessings!
With that in mind, guess what was handed to my husband this evening -at church, nonetheless, by a male aquaintance? It was a business card for a urologist!
(We are currently expecting baby #5) It saddens my heart to see how children are viewed today, even by those who love the Lord.
You are an encouragement!

Thanks for sharing !!

Awwwww, loved it! My husband made a slide show when our last baby (12th) was born and it still makes me cry to watch it. And I, too, know all the work and sacrifice that goes into those beautiful happy pictures. Ya gotta keep your eyes on the Lord, not on others’ seemingly easier lives, and that’s a lesson I’m learning anew these days. Blessings to you and your beautiful family!
Comment by Charlotte (January 10, 2008 @ 9:15 am )
What a precious, beautiful video! Your children are gifts from Him! I cried through the whole thing. With little Esther being born (our #6) November 12th, I saw my little blessings in your sweet children’s faces. (Don’t know if that make sense; I too just feel so blessed!)God is so good! Thank you for sharing.

:o)
Blessed beyond measure, you are!
The wee one was born on my double-nickels-b-day!
Love her name.

Wiping tears away! That was beautiful! And I loved the song too.
The 3yo in my “3 and under” is about to turn 4! Does that mean it’s time to work on the next one?
